Dipti’s Dance Academy

Our Academy emphases on formal training in Indian Classical dance Bharatnatyam and provides sessions on Folk and Bollywood styles. We also offer choreography for wedding sangeet and other events.

ABOUT US

After successfully teaching numerous students and choreographing multiple events in Mumbai, India for over 20 years, Dipti started her own dance academy in Canada to preserve and promote Indian traditional dances. In our academy, we believe in learning with fun. We make sure that students enjoy the process of learning dance and occasionally indulge in performance-based games and activities to keep students motivated and happy. We focus on teaching Bharatnatyam according to a curriculum based syllabus and prepare students to appear for examinations for Diploma in Dance (Bharatnatyam). What makes our class unique is the opportunity of learning other styles of dances (in Hindi/English/Folk) along with Bharatnatyam. Separately, the academy has been active in choreographing for various dance events and conducts dance workshops for kids. Dance classes and fitness workshops for adults are also offered.
